This demo album is the result of a one-year odi et amo relationship with nanoloop.

I bought this nanoloop1.5 cartridge almost ten years ago, but only approached it seriously in this last year. At first I tried to fight against the nature of the software, forcing melodies and imposing a rigid song structure, but then I let it guide me and I found new ways of managing loops and rhythms to venture in new soundscapes I never explored before.
A lot of time was spent in the research for the right (cheapest!) guitar pedals that could allow me to create powerful sounds still keeping the authenticity of the Gameboy sound chip.

Technical details:

Album recorded using nanoloop1.5 on a pro-sounded DMG Gameboy.
Inside nanoloop, drums are panned left and bass+melody are panned right then the Gameboy stereo output is split into two mono channels.
This allows me to use different arrays of effects for each channel:
- Pedals chain for drums: Big muff, Flanger, Spring reverb
- Pedals chain for bass and melody: Fuzz, Chorus, Delay
